Hello.

Name:(talent): Cauterize
Class: Mage
What it should be doing: It should instead of killing you, put you back at 40% of your maximum health. And burn your hp for 12% of it's maximum every 1.5s for the next 6s. So basicly you CAN'T be killed with cauterize. There is nothing that absorb anything here, it's clearly a life-saviour spell.
What it's currently doing: Once cauterize proc, the mage remain dead with all his buff and once the cauterize is ended, he officialy died. I even saw a mage within iceblock ; dead.

No, you can be killed with cauterize but ice block removes the cauterize effect since it removes debuffs and cauterize is a debuff. As far as I know ashley fixed it already.

The Cauterize can kill you. But the attack that is supposed to kill you, can't kill you. Sorry if i miss spelled something here

Let's say a warrior is hitting you as a mage. You are 5% health. He execute you, and if you weren't a fire mage with the talent Cauterize you would have died. Thanksfully you are a fire mage using the Cauterize talent. It will instantly save your life (Doesn't matter the amount of damage you actually took) and bring you back to 40% and with the Cauterize debuff, you will lose HP over time. And you can even dies from it.

I know what cauterize does but your report is too unclear and it's invalid aswell since ashley fixed it. And it was only caused item procs that did dmg and some mastery procs.

I wouldn't report something if it's fixed :-) After talking with Ashley it was clear that Cauterize still have issues.

It's simple, try to kill a fire mage in a PvP area for exemple, tel him to not use iceblock. You will see that he will be dead, and once cauterize is over, he will really be dead. That's something strange. Worth seeing actually.

Ofc you can kill mage during cauterize the only thing cauterize does is saves you from a killing blow and after it heals you to 40% of your max hp and then burns 12% of your hp every 1.2 sec for 6 seconds and that's it. Doesn't give you bubble or any sort. I don't understand what you're trying to say rly, I think you do not know what cauterize should do...
