WoWMortal Beginners Guide

Getting started
Locate the Teleportal npc and click on Shortcuts. From here you can teleport arround most important Mall loactions like gear vendor, enchanter, gems etc.

1. Mortal Channel
After logging in the first thing you should do is accepting the automatic invite to the ‘Mortal’ global channel or you may type "/join mortal" to access it:
This channel makes it easier for you to get in touch with any player on the server and is mainly there to trade, look for PvE/PvP groups or just to chat.

2. Gearing up
Now that you have joined the global channel, it’s time to gear up. WoWMortal has removed the hassle of going through countless of NPCs to find the right gear and has created an universal NPC, which makes it easier to find the items you are looking for. Here’s a picture of the Gearing NPC, which is located to the right of the spawning point. It is also scaled up and marked in order to stand out. All of the following sections can also be accessed through the WoWMortal Teleportal by clicking on Shortcuts -> and chosing the location.
Giving a click on the ‘GEAR’ NPC opens a new window. The Gear in this NPC is divided into two sections: PvP and PvE Gear.

2.1 PvP
The first section is the PvP Gear. On WoWMortal the Cataclysmic Weapons and Off-Pieces are free. So is the Ruthless Main Set.
The Cataclysmic Main-Set can be bought with either Conquest Points or Tol Barad Commendations. Explanation on the existing currency and how to obtain them can be found further into this guide.

2.2 PvE
The lower section is the PvE Gear. Item Level 391 – 397 Off-Pieces and Jewellery are free, aswell as the Tier 13 normal Set and Item Level 391 – 403 Weapons.
Heroic PvE pieces can be bought with Valor Points. The Tier 13 Heroic Set can be bought with tokens which drop in raids. Raids are also going to have their own topic in this guide.

3. Enchanting / Gemming / Reforging
After you have bought your gear, the next step is to enchant, gem and reforge it. The NPCs for this step are located to the right of the ‘GEAR’ vendor:
Item enchantments such as the Ebonsteel Belt Buckle and the Pyrium Weapon Chain have to be bought separately and can be found in the ‘Item Enchantments’ NPC. Deathknights can also find the Runeforger in this section of the Mall.

4. Professions
A couple steps further to the right of the Enchantment section you can find the NPC to learn your desired professions. Talk to the ‘Professions Trainer’ NPC, click on the profession’s name and you’re set with the maximum skill of selected profession.
In this section you can also find the Ground and Flying Mount vendors, which are the Bike and the Wasp.

5. Glyphs / Talents
Moving all the way to the right of the Mall-Section next to the big Staircase is where you can find all the Class Trainers. Talking to them gives you the option to unlearn your talents and to purchase a Dual Talent Specialization. Glyphs don’t need to be bought as you have them all learned by default already.

6. Content
After setting your character up you are ready to join the fun on WoWMortal.
